My work draws on decolonial and collaborative approaches to challenge dominant narratives in North American archaeology. I use these frameworks to document long-term histories of interaction between Indigenous, Black, and settler colonial communities in the U.S. West. Through my research and teaching, I strive to foster dialogue, critique oppressive forms of archaeological praxis, and support community capacity building and knowledge sharing.
